What is V PASS Visitors Management?

V PASS Visitors Management is SysControl Secure’s visitor management system that allows you to streamline and automate your visitor management process. It uses technology to monitor, track and record visitor information.  V PASS is modular, configurable and scalable to suit both small and large residential estates, corporates or business parks.

What is V PASS Visitors Management? 

Access control is fundamental in today’s world. V PASS gives you control over exactly who comes onto your premises. Residents or employees can easily pre-book visitors on specific days online or using a branded mobile app. Visitors then receive a pin number via text message, which gives them temporary access.

V PASS insists on the identification of visitors via a driver’s license, ID card or passport. In this way, you can easily record and track who accessed the property, at what point, when and at what time, as well as who gave them an access pin. There is still room for non-invited visitors to arrive, but their access is still confirmed with the person being visited, the visitor’s identity is still recorded and their presence is still tracked.

V PASS offers the following:

• Data reporting – the V PASS backend allows you to track visitors and events.
• Integration – the API allows for integration with external access control systems or your own mobile applications.

The V PASS residents/employees app allows residents and employees to manage their own visitors and regulars. It also helps the security team on the property to oversee, identify and block unwanted visitors. The app offers many advantages:

V PASS contactless remote control functionality 

The V Pass app has touchless Bluetooth remote control functionality, which makes it easy for residents to quickly and easily enter and exit access points. This reliable and convenient feature is available on the latest version of the app, and it simply requires residents to set up an active passcode. When a resident opens the app, they select the remote control tab. The resident can then select to scan a checkpoint QR code (a notification is then received and access is granted) or access via Bluetooth (only visible and active when in close proximity to the access point).

With the Auto Trigger functionality, an access point can open automatically as a resident approaches (as long as the app is open and functioning). The location permission needs to be enabled for the app, to ensure that the app is within the tolerated distance from the access point. If the resident’s location setting isn’t switched on then they will receive an error message.
